JAZZ MUSIC PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND.

We just HEAR the following conversation as we see the
credits.

CASEY (V.O.)
Roland, do you believe in love at
first sight?

ROLAND (V.O.)
Are you kidding me?

CASEY (V.O.)
No.

ROLAND (V.O.)
Why? Did it happen to you?

INT. ROLAND'S APARTMENT - DAY

WE STEADICAM THROUGH THE HALLWAY AND GO IN THE LIVING ROOM.

Inside it, we see CASEY, his face is hidden, standing in
front of ROLAND, who is sitting down, drinking some beer and
listening to the music.

CASEY
Yes, it did.

ROLAND
Yeah. Yeah, right? Probably in your
case, just lust at first sight. I
don't believe that shit.

CASEY
I couldn't believe it either, but
it did happen.

Roland TURNS THE STEREO OFF.

ROLAND
When?

CASEY
Just last Saturday night.

ROLAND
Last Saturday? Where?

WE STEADICAM AWAY FROM THEM.

FADE TO:

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

WE STEADICAM FROM THE OUTSIDE TO THE INSIDE THE CAFE.

A very unique cafe with artwork all around, not your average
Starbucks. Here, A DIFFERENT LOUD JAZZ MUSIC PLAYS.

CASEY (V.O.)
At a cafe.

A FEMALE CAFE EMPLOYEE serves a couple of YOUNG WOMEN.

ROLAND (V.O.)
Cafe? What the hell are you doing
in a cafe on a Friday night? You
should be out in the clubs, hitting
on girls.

CASEY (V.O.)
I just needed a break from that.
Besides, I did not have anyone to
go with. You were out on a date.

A PREPPY MAN drinks his coffee as he talks to another person,
a RUGGED MALE CHARACTER.

ROLAND (V.O.)
Oh yeah, but that was not just a
date. It was a horizontal bop
between the sheets that I won't
forget. I mean, this girl could do
stuff no girl has done for me not
until that night.

A YOUNG COUPLE displays affection with each other.

CASEY (V.O.)
Is that all you think about? Sex.

ROLAND (V.O.)
Hey, without sex, we would not be
here, would we?

Casey does not answer.

ROLAND (CONT'D) (cont'd)
So what was it about this girl
again...that you fell in love with
her?

CASEY is sitting down with a cup of coffee and doing his
writing with his LAPTOP COMPUTER. He is very focused as if
everyone and everything around him do not exist at all.

CASEY (V.O.)
Well that night, I saw the woman of
my dreams. I've never seen a beauty
like that. Of all places, I saw her
in a cafe, not in a club or a bar.

Then he looks up and sees MONA, not your typical pretty woman
but a beauty rarely seen, as she enters the cafe. Her
movement seems very slow as if time slows down for him to be
able to enjoy the sight.

CLOSE UP OF ROLAND

As he smiles big.

MATCH CUT TO:

INT. ROLAND'S APARTMENT - DAY

CLOSE UP OF ROLAND

As he smiles big, but he is at a different location.

Casey is sitting down, looking up at the ceiling.

ROLAND
Casey! Hey, wake up.

Roland hits him lightly on the arm.

CASEY
Man, I'm sorry I couldn't help it.
It's still so fresh. I can't get
her out of my mind.

ROLAND
Yeah, obviously. Sure...so what do
you mean you've never seen a beauty
like that. For all you know, she
could look like an angel but a
devil in disguise. You see a lot of
girls like that, beautiful but a
total bitch.
I've dealt with girls like that.
Believe me, you don't want to deal
with them.

CASEY
No, I don't think so. She's
different, not that kind. She was
definitely the one I've been
dreaming about.

ROLAND
You're not talking about the
Playboy centerfold from December
1998, are you?

CASEY
Stop kidding around. That's your
fantasy girl, not mine. Not the
woman I dream of spending my life
with.

ROLAND
Whoa! Whoa! Did I just hear
something I never thought would
come out of your mouth? We're not
talking about marriage, children,
house in the suburbs, college
funds, retirement plans, are we?

CLOSE UP OF CASEY

CASEY
Hear me out on this.

THE CAMERA SLOWLY PANS AWAY FROM CASEY'S FACE.

ROLAND
Okay...So what happened?

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

THE CAMERA SLOWLY PANS TOWARDS MONA'S FACE.

Mona walks up to the cafe employee and orders something. At
this time, she has not seen him yet. She gives her MONEY, and
the employee gives her a RECEIPT and her CHANGE.

CASEY (V.O.)
Well, she walked into the cafe and
caught my attention.

Then as she waits for her order, she turns her head towards
where Casey is sitting.

ROLAND (V.O.)
So? Did she look at you?

CASEY (V.O.)
Yeah, she did.

ROLAND (V.O.)
Did you give her an eye contact?

Immediately, Casey puts his head down and pretends to be
concentrating on his writing.

CASEY (V.O.)
Actually I looked away.

One of the men walks in front of him, blocking him from the
view.

MATCH CUT TO:

INT. ROLAND'S APARTMENT - DAY

Roland stands up and walks up to Casey.

ROLAND
What? You looked away? You did not
look straight at her, eye to eye?

CASEY
No.

ROLAND
You blew it. That would have been
the way to know if she was
interested.

CASEY
Just because a woman looks at you,
it does not mean she's interested.

WE ZOOM IN UNTIL WE GET A CLOSE UP OF CASEY'S EYES.

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

CLOSE UP OF MONA'S EYES, AND THEN WE ZOOM OUT TO REVEAL HER
WHOLE FACE.

Mona keeps on looking at Casey. Her eyes are focused on him.

ROLAND (V.O.)
No, but it's the way a girl looks
at you and how long she keeps her
eye on you. That's how you find out
if she is interested.

Casey is typing on the laptop computer. He seems to be about
to look up but decides not to.

CASEY (V.O.)
What do you mean?

ROLAND (V.O.)
For example, if she looks at you
for more than a few seconds.

EXTREME CLOSE UP OF HER EYES REFLECTING CASEY STILL TYPING ON
HIS LAPTOP COMPUTER.

ROLAND (V.O.) (CONT'D) (cont'd)
Five or more, then she is checking
you out. And if you turn to look at
her, and she just continues to look
at you without flinching, then you
might have a chance.

CLOSE UP OF MONA

As she smiles big.

MONA (V.O.)
Marlene, I'm telling you. This guy
was so hot. I could not take my
eyes off him.

MATCH CUT TO:

INT. KITCHEN/MARLENE'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

CLOSE UP OF MONA

She is still smiling big, but this time it is at a different
location.

MARLENE opens the fridge and takes a box of ice cream from
the freezer.

MARLENE
I hate to tell you this, but you're
way too wrapped up with looks.

Marlene takes some cups off the cupboard and starts to put
some ice cream in them.

MARLENE (CONT'D) (cont'd)
Is that the only thing you look for
a guy? Like how good-looking he is.

MONA
No, this time, it was different. It
was not just the look. It was more
than that.

MARLENE
(sarcastic?)
What? A nice muscular body?

MONA
No... Something I cannot explain.
Something deep. Something special.

Marlene then gives a cup of ice cream to Mona.

MARLENE
If he was so special, then why
didn't you go and meet him?

MONA
Yeah right! Me? I don't think so.
You know it's not me to go right up
to a guy and just-

MARLENE
(interrupting)
Why not? It's the twenty first
century. Women now have equal
rights. Even women are now becoming
bodybuilders. Have you seen those?

MONA
Yeah, and they are disgusting.

MARLENE
I know.
(a beat)
The thing I want to clear up is...
We can pick guys up too.

Mona starts to eat her ice cream.

MONA
I don't think I would do that.

Marlene puts the box of ice cream back in the fridge.

MONA (CONT'D) (cont'd)
The guy would probably get a big
head if I did that. Sometimes, it's
better to play hard to get.

Marlene now starts to eat her ice cream.

MARLENE
Play hard to get and do some mind
games? Let me tell you this. The
fact is... There are more women
than men in this world, so you
either compete - honey - or lose.
Survival of fittest, that's what it
is all about.

MONA
I don't know. I did not want to
look desperate. Do you know what I
mean?

MARLENE
You wouldn't look desperate for
going up and talking to him. It's
just getting what you want. So did
he ever look at you - to see if he
was interested.

THE CAMERA PANS AWAY FROM MONA'S FACE.

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

THE CAMERA PANS TOWARDS MONA'S FACE.

Mona continues to look at Casey.

MONA (V.O.)
No, he was like... so into his
work. He was very focused.

Casey is still very much focused into his work.

MONA (V.O.) (CONT'D) (cont'd)
He had so much intensity. I could
see it in his eyes. Maybe he was a
writer.

WE ZOOM IN AND DO A CLOSE UP OF MONA

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. OLD STYLE LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

CLOSE UP OF CASEY, AND THEN WE ZOOM OUT TO REVEAL:

Casey, DRESSED UP LIKE SHAKESPEARE, is writing with an old
fountain pen.

He then looks up as if he is thinking what to write next.

MONA (V.O.)
Writers are like that. Very
intense. Their minds go off
somewhere and enter into their own
imaginative world.

WE THEN ZOOM IN ON CASEY AGAIN UNTIL HIS FACE FILLS THE FRAME

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. BLACK BACKGROUND

CLOSE UP OF MONA'S FACE, AND WE ZOOM OUT TO REVEAL:

Mona, DRESSED UP LIKE AN ANGEL, as she walks out of a cloud
of smoke.

WE THEN ZOOM IN ON CASEY AGAIN UNTIL HER FACE FILLS THE FRAME

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

CLOSE UP OF CASEY

He is still focused into his work.

Then he turns to look at Mona-

EMPLOYEE (O.S.)
Miss, did you order a large
cappuccino

- who, at the same time, turns her head towards the employee
who is holding A LARGE CUP OF CAPPUCCINO.

MONA
I'm sorry. Yes, that's what I
ordered.

ANGLE ON CASEY

As he turns to look back at Mona, but her head is turned
towards the employee.

EMPLOYEE
Here you go, miss.

The employee then hands her the large cup of cappuccino.

MONA
Thanks.

Mona then turns to walk towards where Casey is sitting.

Casey immediately avoids being caught looking at her, puts
his head down and just stares at his computer screen.

CASEY (V.O.)
Suppose you're right. Oh man, I
should have looked her in the eye.
Then I would have known if I had a
chance.

ROLAND (V.O.)
So you didn't?

CASEY (V.O.)
I don't know. I don't think so.
Maybe I lost my edge. It never
happened to me with other women.

Mona keeps on walking and staring at Casey, who still seems
to be hard at work.

ROLAND (V.O.)
I know. Then what happened?

She then stops at an empty table in front of him and sits,
facing away from him and towards the door.

CASEY (V.O.)
Well, let's see.
(a beat)
She sat right in front of me.

EXT. PATIO/ROLAND'S APARTMENT - DAY

Casey and Roland are sitting outside, drinking beer.

CASEY
(describes)
About that far, maybe seven feet
away.

ROLAND
There you go. Then you should have
approached her right there. That
should have been easy. Maybe she
decided to sit not too far from you
to show that she was interested.

CASEY
How could I approach her? Like
sneak up from behind and scare the
crap out of her. That would not
have been a good idea.

ROLAND
So what did you do? You just sit
there and just watch the back of
her head.

OVER THE SHOULDER SHOT OF CASEY WITH ROLAND IN THE
FOREGROUND.

MATCH CUT TO:

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

SHOT OF MONA IN THE FOREGROUND WITH CASEY BEHIND IN THE
BACKGROUND.

Casey is looking at back of Mona's head. He does not know
what to do. He looks around as if afraid of being seen by
other people, staring at Mona.

CASEY (V.O.)
But what a sight. Even the back of
her head looks good --

He scrutinizes every part of her body, that is visible from
the back, with his eyes.

CASEY (V.O.) (CONT'D) (cont'd)
-- and those shoulders and arms, it
is as if God were a sculptor, and
this was his masterpiece.

ANOTHER ANGLE:

Mona is drinking her cappuccino, but her eyes roll side to
side, trying to take a peek at Roland from behind without
being too obvious.

CLOSE UP OF MONA'S FACE

INT. MARLENE'S APARTMENT - DAY

CLOSE UP OF MONA'S FACE

MARLENE (O.S.)
So? Tell me. Tell me. Continue with
the story. What happened next?

MONA
Anyway, at this time, he was just
behind me, and --

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

Roland stands up and is about to take a step towards Mona,
who is still facing away from him.

MONA (V.O.)
-- I was hoping that he would
approach me, but it didn't happen.

ROLAND (V.O.)
Only look but no touch. Just words
but no action. What? You don't have
it anymore.

CASEY (V.O.)
Of course not. Eventually I got the
guts to approach her, but-

MONA'S CELL PHONE RINGS, and Mona picks it up.

Roland stops and sits back down on his chair.

MONA
Hello. Hello. I can't hear you. I
have a weak signal.

She then walks towards the door.

MONA (CONT'D) (cont'd)
Hold on, and I'll go out.

She stops just a foot short away from the door, still inside.

MONA (CONT'D) (cont'd)
Okay, this is better. Are you home
now?

Mona listens to the voice at the other end of the line.

MONA (CONT'D) (cont'd)
Okay. I am just here at the cafe,
not too far from your place. I'll
be right there in a few minutes.

THE CAMERA FOLLOWS MONA

As she walks towards and out the door without turning her
head.

I/E. ROLAND'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

THE CAMERA FOLLOWS CASEY

As he, holding a mug of beer, walks out of the apartment into
the patio.

Also holding a mug of beer, Roland follows him from behind.

ROLAND
So you just let her go away.

Casey turns towards him.

CASEY
What was I supposed to do? She was
on the phone. It could be her
boyfriend waiting for her outside.

ROLAND
So what?

CASEY
Hello! You know...boyfriend, six
four, two hundred forty pounds.
He'd probably beat me into the
ground.

ROLAND
In that case, you're right. So what
did you do next?

THE CAMERA PANS AWAY FROM ROLAND'S FACE TOWARDS THE PATIO
DOOR AND ZOOMS IN ON IT UNTIL IT FILLS THE FRAME.

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

THE CAMERA ZOOMS OUT OF THE DOOR UNTIL IT SHOWS CASEY'S BACK
AS HE CONTINUES TO LOOK OUT THE DOOR.

He then puts his head down and continues to type into his
laptop.

CASEY (V.O.)
Well, I went back to my work.

ROLAND (V.O.)
What? Back to work.

CASEY (V.O.)
What was I supposed to do? In my
line of work, I've got deadlines.

INT. BAR/ROLAND'S APARTMENT - DAY

Roland OPENS A BOTTLE OF BEER and pours it into a mug.

ROLAND
You're telling me that you fell in
love just like that, but instead
you're more worried about your
work.

He then gives the mug of beer to Casey.

ROLAND (CONT'D) (cont'd)
You should have followed her.

CASEY
What? And be a stalker?

ROLAND
Why not?

Casey then picks the mug up and drinks it.

CASEY
Are you serious?

ROLAND
Well, I won't go that far, but at
least you should have done
something than just wish like what
you're doing now.

CASEY
I know.

As Casey puts his mug down-

MATCH CUT TO:

INT. MARLENE'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

-Marlene's hand holding a spoon goes down and scoops some ice
cream up from her cup and brings it to her mouth.

She then eats it.

MARLENE
What? So you just left without
trying to meet this guy.

Mona also continues to eat her ice cream.

MONA
Yeah, I mean - I did not drive all
the way to that place to meet some
guy. I didn't expect that I would
walk in to a cafe and just fall in
love just like some kind of a love
story in a movie. Let's be real
here. I was just supposed to see
John.

MARLENE
You're there to - see John?
John? John who?

Marlene stands up and confronts Mona.

MARLENE (CONT'D) (cont'd)
I must have told you this a
trillion times. He takes you for
granted. You deserve better than
him. You totally messed up. This
guy could be the one.

MATCH CUT TO:

INT. LIVING ROOM/ROLAND'S APARTMENT - DAY

Roland is walking around the room, confronting Casey who just
sits there.

ROLAND
You blew it. You never know, she
could have liked you.

CASEY
I don't know. A woman like that
probably would not even give me the
time of day. You're talking about a
woman who is way out of my league.
She's probably looking for someone
better-looking and with much more
to offer.

ROLAND
You've never said about that, about
other girls. Why now?

CASEY
I don't know. I just didn't think
she would have liked me.

ROLAND
I like you. So why couldn't she
like you?

CASEY
But you're a guy.

ROLAND
So?

CASEY
Forget it.

ROLAND
So that's it. End of story. She's
gone, out of your life. Why did you
have to tell me this story? There
is probably a better story on TV
with a better ending than your
story. The Jerry Springer's show
has better plots and sympathetic
characters than your story.

Roland then picks the remote control up and is about to turn
the TV on but-

PAN TOWARDS WHERE THE TV IS, BUT WE CUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE
PAN.

INT. MARLENE'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

PAN TOWARDS MARLENE

Who also picks the remote control-

MARLENE
What is this story? More like
wishful thinking. Where's the fairy
tale ending? You know, girl goes to
meet boy. Boy gets to like her.
They fall in love, ride into the
sunset and live happily ever after.

-and is also about to turn on the TV.

MONA
But wait, I haven't finished the
story.

She turns to Mona and hesitates to turn the TV on.

MARLENE
Come on. Come on. Tell me. Tell me.

FADE TO:

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

ANOTHER NIGHT.

Mona, DRESSED IN A DIFFERENT OUTFIT, is sitting down, same
place where she was before, and drinking her usual LARGE CUP
OF CAPPUCCINO.

Her eyes wander, checking every person inside the cafe and
every person that walks in.

MONA (V.O.)
Well, I went back over there. I was
sure that since he must have been a
writer, he probably did most of his
writing in this cafe.

Then Casey, IN A DIFFERENT OUTFIT, walks in. At this time, he
does not know that Mona is there too.

MONA (V.O.) (CONT'D) (cont'd)
And I was right. He came in, and I
knew it was not just a coincidence
or a chance. It was fate.

He goes up to the cafe employee and-

CASEY
Hi! Can I have a cafe au' lait
please?

Mona keeps on looking at him.

EMPLOYEE
What size?

CASEY
Just a medium size. Thanks.

EMPLOYEE
That would be two seventy-five,
sir.

Casey reaches for his pocket and takes a FIVE DOLLAR BILL and
gives it to her.

As he waits for his coffee, Casey for no reason turns his
head towards where Mona is sitting. He is surprised.

CASEY (V.O.)
There's more. You won't believe
what happened. I went back over
there the next day, and I saw her
again. For some weird reason, I
felt like she would go back there
again.

ROLAND (V.O.)
Last Saturday night? But you were
with me.

CASEY (V.O.)
Not until later that night.

ROLAND (V.O.)
And then what?

CASEY (V.O.)
And this time she looked at me.

Mona's eyes and Casey's eyes lock into each other.

ROLAND (V.O.)
She did?

INT. ROLAND'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

Roland is sitting down and Casey is standing, facing each
other, almost the same position as Mona and Casey in the
previous scene. Casey is demonstrating the scene to him.

CASEY
Yes, eye to eye, like this.

He points his fingers at his eyes and then at Roland's eyes.

ROLAND
That's good.

CASEY
Yeah, but it did not last long. It
was just a fraction of a second, so
I don't think she was interested.

INT. MARLENE'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

Also almost the same position as Mona and Casey in the
previous scene, Marlene is standing, listening to Mona, who
is sitting down, as she demonstrate the scene to her.

MONA
I couldn't believe it. He looked at
me.

MARLENE
That's good. Maybe he was
interested in you.

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

Casey then walks towards Mona with his cup of cafe au' lait
in hand.

MONA (V.O.)
I don't know. Just when he was
about to approach me --

Mona looks down, and Casey looks just at the cup and the
direction where he is going. Both of them try to steal a
glance at each other but not quite at the same time.

MONA (CONT'D) (cont'd)
-- he just kept on walking and just
sat right behind me.

He just keeps on walking past her and then sits right behind
her.

INT. MARLENE'S APARTMENT - DAY

MONA
For all I know, he's probably not
interested in girls.

MARLENE
What? Do you think he's from West
Hollywood?

MONA
West Hollywood?

MARLENE
You know, gay?

MONA
You mean, he's lively?

MARLENE
No... A homo.

MONA
No, he's not. He wasn't the type.
He was very straight. He's just
probably more into his work.

MARLENE
More into his work?

MONA
Yeah, I've heard writers are like
that. I am not sure if Woody Allen
was the one who said it, but he
said that if a writer gets sexually
involved with a woman, he loses his
creativity and ends up not writing
his masterpiece novel.

MARLENE
I guess that can be true...that
artists can be more creative when
they haven't been getting any.

MONA
Yeah, you know, it's like athletes.
I don't think some of them have sex
the night before their games. Just
because of - you know-

INT. ROLAND'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

MARLENE (V.O.)
Yeah, you're right. Sex probably
takes a lot of toll on the body and
the mind.

Roland is sitting down, listening to Casey as he walks back
and forth. He seems to be agitated, full of energy.

CASEY
I tell you. She could be my muse.
With her as my muse, my work will
come alive.

ROLAND
But you're a web designer, not a
painter or a sculptor. Why do you
need a muse for?

CASEY
Hey, I am still an artist. Only the
web is my canvas.

ROLAND
Okay. Whatever you say. So you
think with her as your muse, you'll
create better web designs.

CASEY
Why not?

ROLAND
Yeah, you may be right. I've looked
at some of the latest web sites
you've done, and they seem to suck
big time. They are not as great as
before. No doubt about it. You
probably need a muse to get laid
with.

CASEY
I am not talking about that. What I
mean is a source of inspiration.

ROLAND
Well, if sex is not an inspiration,
I don't know what.

CASEY
(trying to make joke)
It could also be a source of
perspiration.

They just look at each other and think about it for a moment.
Then Roland breaks the silence and:

ROLAND
So did you approach her this time?

FADE TO:

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

Casey is still sitting at the same table, and Mona is also
sitting at the same table, right in front of him.

CASEY (V.O.)
Well, this is what happened. I just
sat there, waiting for the right
moment.

He looks back and forth, at his computer screen and at her
back.

MONA (V.O.)
I really wanted him to make the
first move, but I guess he was not
going to do it.

She just sits there, drinking her usual large cup of
cappuccino. She rolls her eyes side to side as if she is
waiting for him to approach her.

MONA (V.O.) (CONT'D) (cont'd)
So I decided to go for it.

She stands up, faces him and starts to walk towards him.

THE DIALOGUE DISSOLVES FROM MONA'S TO CASEY'S.

CASEY (V.O.)
All of the sudden, she stands up
and heads towards me. I didn't know
what to do. I just froze like a
deer in the headlights. I wasn't
even sure if I had bad breath or
not. It's not like I had a chance
to chew some gum or take a breath
mint or something.

But when she looks at him, he just puts his head down.

MONA (V.O.)
I was going for it, no matter what.
I did not have a pick up line or
anything, but-

As she gets near him, she decides to walk past him and
towards the rest room, which is right next to and behind him.

As she open the door and gets in, she takes a look at him but
all she sees is the back of his head.

INT. ROLAND'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

Roland stands up and approaches Casey, who is still walking
back and forth.

ROLAND
That was it. You should have talked
to her right there.

CASEY
Talk to her? It wasn't the right
timing. I mean, she was on her way
to the rest room. Nature calls, she
had to go.

INT. MARLENE'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

Marlene sits down right next to Mona.

MARLENE
And then what? You went straight to
the rest room? Did you get nervous
and-

MONA
No, I did not need to go. I just
pretended.

MARLENE
But why?

MONA
I don't know I just - yes, you're
right. I got nervous. I mean, what
if he-

MARLENE
Feeling insecure? You are so HOT.
If I were a guy or a lesbian, I
would hit on you.

FADE TO:

INT. REST ROOM - NIGHT

Mona is looking at herself in the mirror and checking her
face and body.

Casey is standing up, right in front of the door. He is
waiting for Mona to come out.

CASEY (V.O.)
But it took a while before she came
out. I don't know maybe she had to
really unload.

He looks at his watch.

CASEY (CONT'D) (cont'd)
It was too long for her to come
out. I was about to doze off,
waiting for her.

ROLAND
I am about to doze off, listening
to your story.

He then sits back down where he was sitting before but faces
the rest room door.

INT. KITCHEN/MARLENE'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

THE MICROWAVE OVEN'S ALARM BEEPS, and Marlene opens its door
and takes a bag of popcorn out.

MARLENE
So what did you do inside the rest
room?

She then opens the bag and starts to munch.

MONA
I did not do much at first. I could
not think. My heart was beating
fast. It was as if all the blood in
my brain just left and went
straight to my heart.

Marlene then offers Mona some popcorn, and she takes some.

FADE TO:

INT. REST ROOM/CAFE - NIGHT

Mona walks back and forth and keeps looking at herself in the
mirror.

MONA (V.O.)
I thought this was it. Either I
would go for it or miss what could
have been the one for me.

A FLUSH IS HEARD.

MARLENE (V.O.)
Like your soul mate?

MONA (V.O.)
Yeah. If that really exists for
each one of us.

She immediately pretends to wash her hands as the female
employee comes out of one of the stalls.

The female employee walks up to the sink and washes her
hands.

As she continues washing, she looks at Mona and smiles.

Mona smiles back.

The employee finishes washing, and Mona continues to pretend
to wash.

The employee then dries her hands.

EXT. PATIO/ROLAND'S APARTMENT - DAY

Roland is leaning on the doorway with Casey outside facing
him.

ROLAND
So did she finally come out?

CASEY
Yes, she did, but before that, I
made a fool out of myself.

FADE TO:

INT. CAFE - NIGHT

As soon as the door of the rest room opens, Casey immediately
stands up and almost jumps in front of it. But it is the
female employee who comes out.

EMPLOYEE
(startled)
Can I help you?

CASEY
No, I'm fine. I just need to go to
the rest room.

EMPLOYEE
(pointing)
The men's room is right there, on
that side.

CASEY
Oh, thank you.

He then pretends to go in. He opens the door and gets in.

INT. MALE REST ROOM

CASEY (V.O.)
It was a little bit embarrassing,
but I managed to pull myself
together.

Casey walks in and just looks at himself in the mirror.

CASEY (CONT'D) (cont'd)
And since I was already in the rest
room, I tried to make sure I looked
and smelled good.

He then tries to fix his hair with just his fingers.

He then splashes water on his face from the faucet.

He lifts both his arms up and smells both his underarms.

INT. REST ROOM - NIGHT

Mona is checking her face on the reflection of the mirror.

MONA (V.O.)
So I made sure I looked my best.

She then takes a breath spray out of her handbag and sprays
some into her mouth.

MONA (V.O.) (CONT'D) (cont'd)
I was about to take a risk, so
everything had to be perfect about
me or at least close to it.

She then checks her makeup, takes a lipstick from her purse
and puts some on.

MONA (V.O.) (CONT'D) (cont'd)
I did not know what would happen
afterwards. Maybe I might make a
fool out of myself in front of him,
but either I would do it or regret
it --

She then checks her teeth, looking for some food stains.

MONA (V.O.) (CONT'D) (cont'd)

all. And just think of it, spend
the rest of my life, thinking what

INT. BAR/ROLAND'S APARTMENT - NIGHT

Roland and Casey are now sitting in the bar, with drinks in
their hands.

ROLAND
So let's get to it. The suspense is
killing me. So what happened?

CASEY
At first, I thought I might have
missed her.

INT. CAFE

Casey opens the door from the inside of the rest room and
takes a peek.

His POV of the whole place. Mona is not out there.

Casey then steps out of the rest room.

CASEY (V.O.)
Then there she was, right in front
of me.

The female rest room door opens at the same time, and Mona
steps out too.

They look at each other and stop on their tracks. Their eyes
lock for what seems to be forever.

FADE TO BLACK.

Suddenly both Misha and Luther, at the same time, open their mouths, showing fangs and bite into their partners' necks. Blood just spurts out of their necks.

The women, who just felt pleasure, now experience pain so excruciating that their moan turns into a scream so loud that it is heard even outside the mansion.

EXT. MANSION - NIGHT

The mansion is shown with the trees in the foreground. The bats which were hanging on the trees suddenly fly away as if disturbed by the scream of the women.

INT. BEDROOM/MANSION - CONTINUOUS

Suddenly the door is forcefully opened by a kick.

It is JACK, a vampire killer, along with a group of other two vampire killers, MICHAEL and PETER.

Both Misha and Luther take their mouths off their victims' necks, and their lifeless bodies just fall off.

As Misha and Luther turn their heads towards Jack and his group, their eyes look fierce and their mouths drip with blood.

Suddenly they fly to the ceiling as Michael tries to shoot Misha with his bow and arrow but misses.

Peter also tries to shoot Luther but also misses.

Both Luther and Misha are now mad as hell as they both attack them.

Misha reaches Michael before he could load his bow with an arrow and bites into his head. The head spurts blood like crazy. Grabs his neck and almost decapitates it with his strength.

Luther also reaches Peter and just slaps his hand across his neck, almost decapitating him with his long nails. A lot of blood also spurts out of his neck like crazy.

Jack then has the chance to shoot Misha with his bow and arrow. The arrow hits his body but barely misses his heart as he turns his body around. Instead the arrow just hits his biceps. This is not enough to kill him. He is now madder than ever as he screams. Yes, he is in pain a little bit.

Jack, armed with a spear, then throws it towards Luther as he tries to fly towards him after seeing what he has done to Misha.

The spear goes through Luther, which just drops him hard to the ground from flying. His body then just bursts into flames.

Misha sees this and screams. Now he is more than mad. He is just uncontrollably mad. He flies fast towards and attacks Jack before he could even arm himself. Misha then bites him on the neck. By the time, he lets go of him, his head decapitates from his body.

Misha SCREAMS as he looks at Luther's ashes.

FADE TO BLACK.

How much work is it to do a wedding or any event photography or video such as quinceanera, Sweet Sixteen, and others? For video, 1 day of production and approximately 4 - 6 days of posproduction - capturing done on real time, selections of shots, rough cut, fine cute, sound editing, music scoring, DVD Burning. For photography, 1 day of production and at least 3 days of posproduction - color correction, enhancement and retouching, CD Burning. This information is for prospective clients, so they have an idea how much work it takes to do this kind of assignment.

In addition, we have to pay for our health insurance, business insurance, taxes, business license, equipment replacement and/or repair because of wear and tear on the equipment, advertising and other overheads and of course our own pay.

For our rates, they are already low enough to cover these expenses, so we cannot go lower than that anymore. Well, as a photography and video company, our main goal is to make our services affordable for the working class and lower middle class but not too cheap that it's not profitable for us. One observation seems to be that service providers (wedding planners, DJs, photographers, videographers) charge an arm and a leg whenever they attach the word "wedding" to their services. As you can see, although these images were shot for editorial purpose, this kind of photographs can also be used for advertising. For small businesses, we could come up with the concept for the photograph or series of photographs and create the image or images which can be used for your advertising and promotion. This is the same thing with models and talents who also need images for their own promotion and marketing.

For this assignment, he was just told to illustrate sunless tanning lotion, and he came up with these images. Though some clients will give a sketch or a drawing of what they want, for this, they were all his concepts.

Having served in the military, the founder was encouraged by the military to contribute to a cause and this contribution was deducted from our paycheck every pay day automatically. Because of that, it has become his habit to give back to the community because we are all part of this planet called Earth. We are not an island. We all could use some help from each other. And this organization seems to make sense since the children are our future.

A lot of photographers who can do your wedding photography for much less, but most of the work are mediocre. One photographer's work I've seen are full of overexposed shots, so you cannot see the fine details of the white gown of the bride. I feel bad for the bride to spend that much money on the gown, only for it to become just a memory rather than having the real photographic record of how the gown really looks like. And one thing, I've noticed is that these photographers just shoot a lot of pictures, hoping for a hit or miss kind of shots, hoping that one out of ten shots is a keeper. This is not the best way to capture your wedding. A moment missed is a moment gone. A photographer should be ready to snap that picture at the right moment (just like the picture shown below) and should be sure that all the technical process is right on the spot before the picture is taken. Also a photographer should be able to deal with problems that might come about and be able to solve them right away or else a lot of missed opportunity for great pictures will be lost and you don't want that. Like the picture below, the right moment was captured on time, and I did not have to worry about if the exposure was right. All I had to worry was the timing of the shot and how good it would look in the final product.

If you are looking for a wedding or an event photographer, most of the time, it is much more reliable to hire someone who did go to a photography school, either college or technical school. And for sure, they will do a much better job at capturing your memories than someone who is kind of just "learning on the job" and doing the "hit or miss" thing. Your wedding is something that does not happen again. Make sure its images are captured right. Having been an assistant to wedding photographers before I went on my own, it was kind of strange that some of them are not so technical savvy that they rely on me to help them with the technical aspect of photography. Of course, some of these photographers would not admit this. But don't get me wrong, some of them are good with people yet bad with the technical aspects of photography. So it is better to get someone who is skilled with both, dealing with people and the technical aspects of photography and also who is creative, so the rest assured, your wedding photography won't be a "hit or miss" kind of thing. A much better scenario is to get someone who has an assistant 'cause more likely the assistant is very technical and could help him or her do a better job with the photography. Besides, this eases the workload off the photographer, making him or her concentrate and focus on the photography, leaving the assistant to deal with the other stuff: posing, making sure all the requested images are met, organizing the shoot, dealing with the lighting and others. This definitely makes a difference. Your wedding is a once in a lifetime, so leave it to the professionals who know what they are doing.

Christopher Revon has a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Photography with a double major in both commercial photography and film production and has worked as an assistant to fashion photographers (including a stint at the Paparazzi Studio in Paris, France), assistant to top wedding photographers such as Curt Littlecott, assistant to commercial photographers such as Ed McDonald. He has also done and continues to do weddings, events, portraits (family, children, corporate, etc), headshots and modeling portfolio. Occassionally he also does photography for advertising and public relations purpose.

In addition, he has more than a few years of experience in school photography, working for some prestigious school photography outfits in Los Angeles, California and Seattle, Washington. He has photographed infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartens, grade school pupils and high school students. He has also photographed Senior Proms and some youth sports.

First of all, as your photographers, for most of our packages, there is always the two of us who work with you. Two photographers or videographers are better than one. Or one photographer and one assistant. Why? Well, coverage. So you get more coverage of your event. For example, someone could photograph the groom and the groomsmen as they prepare for the wedding, and someone else could cover the bride and her bridesmaid at the same time. Also an extra hand always makes the job easier, giving the main photographer to concentrate on making the pictures, not worrying about any problems that might show up.

Second, we always have backup equipment for everything. Backup cameras, backup flash system, and others. This way, if one fails, the shooting still continues.

Third, we have a liability insurance just in case we break something while we do your shoots. Or if the digital negatives get lost or damaged. And other stuff.

The main photographer has logged in years of doing professional photography assignments from being an assistant to other wedding photographers, portrait photographers, fashion photographers and advertising photographers, to doing his or her own photography assignments. In addition, he or she had formal training in photography, including a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Photography.

Fifth, we are not moody or diva and love to work with people. We are flexible and always here to help you with your needs. And by the way, we are also good with kids since we are also preschool photographers.

After getting his Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Photography, double major in both commercial photography and film production, Christopher Revon began his career in photography being an assistant at the Paparazzi Studio in Paris, France assisting fashion photographers for such publications as Elle France and other top European fashion magazines. Then when he came back to the States, he assisted some top advertising photographers, architectural photographers and eventually some top wedding photographers.

He then worked for the famous Yuen Lui Studio in Seattle, WA, assisting their wedding photographers and being one of their school photographers. He also worked for a prestigious school photography: Highlight Photography, in Los Angeles. Eventually he went on his own a few years later.
